First Female Store Director

Whether you’ve been around the United Family for one year or 40, you have probably worked with or been impacted by Debbie Sumner. Debbie began her career in 1984 not realizing she would spend the next 40 years in various roles at United Supermarkets becoming an influential woman in grocery. This year for Women’s History Month we are proud to honor Debbie. Debbie not only was the first female store director at United, she has helped to build the culture of our team and define ultimate service to our guests. Help us celebrate the last 40 years with Debbie while she shares her story with us.
