1. Line an 8 ½ x 12 inch baking sheet with parchment paper. In a microwave safe container, microwave chocolate chips for 30 seconds and stir. Continue until completely melted or about 1 ½ minutes total.
2. Immediately spread in an even layer on baking sheet. Sprinkle chopped almonds and dried cherries evenly across top. Press lightly into the chocolate and sprinkle sea salt on top, if desired.
3. Chill until firm. Cut into 1x2-inch pieces to serve.
