Preheat oven to 350 degrees F. Grease a 9x5x3-inch loaf pan.

In a medium bowl, whisk together the flour, sugar, baking powder and salt, stir the beer and honey into the dry ingredients until mixed.

Pour half the melted butter into the loaf pan. Spoon the batter into the pan, and pour the rest of butter on top.

Bake for 50 to 60 minutes until top is golden brown.

NOTE: We used Rahr & Sons Rahr's Blonde for the sake of this recipe. If it is not available where you shop, any light, blonde, or wheat beer will work just as well.
