1. Grease and flour 9x13-inch baking pan.
2. In large bowl, beat together dry cake mix and 20 oz can of pineapple (with juice) for one minute.
3. Pour into prepared baking pan and bake at 350 degrees for 30 minutes.
4. While baking, stir together frosting in medium bowl by combining whipped topping, 2 (8 oz) cans drained pineapple, and maraschino cherries. When cake is cool, top with whipped topping mixture and refrigerate.
